Why this matters

Betrayal doesn’t just change what you think. It changes how safe your body feels.

After betrayal, your body may stay on high alert long after the discovery, disclosure, or shock has passed. You may know logically that you are safe in this moment, but your body still feels like it is waiting for the next secret, the next lie, the next discovery, or the next emotional crash.

You may feel anxious, numb, disconnected, reactive, exhausted, or unable to trust your own intuition. These responses are not signs that you are broken. They are signs that your nervous system has been trying to protect you after something deeply disorienting.

Reclaiming Safety helps you understand these responses through a nervous-system lens so you can stop blaming yourself for what your body has been doing to survive. This course gives you education, somatic practices, and reflection tools to help safety become something you can begin to feel from the inside out.

This course may be for you if…

You’re ready for a softer way to heal.

01

You replay conversations, discoveries, or disclosures and wonder what you missed.

02

You feel anxious, numb, shut down, reactive, or unable to calm your body.

03

You second-guess your intuition after gaslighting, deception, or emotional whiplash.

04

You understand things logically, but your body still does not feel safe.

05

You want tools that help you stabilize before making big decisions.

What this course is not

This is not about rushing your healing.

Reclaiming Safety will not tell you whether to stay or leave. It will not pressure you to forgive before your body feels safe. It will not ask you to override your intuition or push through your protective responses.

This course helps you slow down, understand your body, and build the internal safety needed to hear yourself again.

Do I need to be staying in my relationship to take this?

No. This course is about rebuilding safety within yourself. It can support you whether you are staying, leaving, separated, undecided, rebuilding, grieving, or still trying to understand what happened.

Is this course therapy?

No. Reclaiming Safety is an educational and somatic support course, not therapy or a replacement for professional mental health care. It can work beautifully alongside therapy, coaching, support groups, or your own personal healing practices.

What if I am currently in crisis?

This course can be supportive, but it is not emergency support, therapy, or crisis care. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to stay safe, please contact local emergency services, a crisis hotline, or a trusted support person right away.

Do I need to finish the course quickly?

No. This work is not about rushing. It is about building safety in a way that feels steady and sustainable. You can return to the lessons, workbook, and practices anytime.

What is the difference between the course and the Circle?

Reclaiming Safety gives you the structured foundation. The Circle gives you ongoing support, weekly coaching, community, and monthly healing themes as you continue applying the work in real life.

About your instructor

Hi, I’m Carrie.

I help men and women heal after betrayal trauma using a body-centered, nervous-system-informed approach. After walking through betrayal trauma myself, I learned that true healing was not just about understanding what happened. It was about helping my body feel safe again.

Reclaiming Safety was created to give you the foundation I wish I had earlier: compassionate education, somatic tools, and a gentle pathway back to your body, your intuition, and yourself.

Reclaiming Safety

You do not have to fight your body in order to heal.

Your reactions make sense. Your body has been trying to protect you. Reclaiming Safety will help you understand those protective responses and begin building a steadier relationship with yourself.
