1:1 Somatic Coaching

Personal support for healing after betrayal.

A private, body-centered coaching space where we slow down, listen to what your nervous system is carrying, and begin rebuilding safety, self-trust, and connection from the inside out.

Weekly, biweekly, and single-session options available.

Private support

You don’t have to hold all of this alone.

“You do not need to force clarity from survival mode. You need a safe place to slow down, listen, and come back to yourself.”

A different kind of support

When betrayal changes your body, healing has to include your body.

After betrayal, it can feel like your mind will not stop searching for answers and your body will not stop bracing for impact. You may feel anxious, shut down, reactive, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to trust yourself again.

1:1 coaching gives you a private space to slow everything down. Instead of trying to force clarity from survival mode, we work with your nervous system, your protective patterns, your body’s cues, and the deeper parts of you that are trying to keep you safe.

This may be for you if…

You need support that is specific to you.

01

You feel stuck in anxiety, shutdown, anger, grief, hypervigilance, or emotional whiplash.

02

You keep second-guessing yourself after deception, gaslighting, betrayal, or repeated broken trust.

03

You understand what happened logically, but your body still does not feel safe.

04

You want to stop fighting your protective responses and start understanding what they are trying to do for you.

05

You want personalized tools, reflection, and support instead of trying to piece everything together alone.

What coaching is like

A place to be met with compassion, clarity, and nervous-system-informed support.

Coaching is not about pushing you to make the “right” decision before your body is ready. It is about helping you understand your responses, build regulation, reconnect with your felt sense, and begin hearing yourself again.

Some sessions may focus on triggers, boundaries, relationship repair, grief, self-trust, protective parts, or the places where your body still feels stuck. The work is personalized to what you are carrying and what your nervous system has capacity for.

During our time together

The work moves through three gentle phases.

This is not a rigid formula. It is a supportive pathway that helps us build safety before going deeper.

Phase One

Befriending Your Nervous System

Before deeper healing can happen, your nervous system needs a sense of safety. In this phase, we create a personalized map of your nervous system states and the regulation tools that support your unique body.

  • Recognize your nervous system patterns
  • Develop tools to support regulation
  • Build internal safety from a place of stability

Phase Two

Coming Home to Your Body

Trauma can leave you disconnected from yourself, unsure what you need, or afraid to trust your body. This phase helps you rebuild felt sense awareness so you can begin listening to your body’s language again.

  • Practice interoception and body awareness
  • Notice sensation, tension, emotion, and cues
  • Move from intellectualizing healing to embodying it

Phase Three

Integrating Your Inner Parts

Once there is more safety and connection, we can gently explore the parts of you shaped by betrayal, trauma, attachment wounds, and protective strategies.

  • Understand protective parts like people-pleasing, avoidance, or self-criticism
  • Offer compassion to wounded parts
  • Build a more whole, self-trusting relationship with yourself

A softer pace

You do not have to force clarity from survival mode.

One of the most compassionate things we can do after betrayal is slow down enough to understand what your body is protecting, what your parts are carrying, and what safety needs to look like for you.

From there, choices become less frantic. Boundaries become less reactive. Self-trust becomes something you can feel, not something you have to talk yourself into.

Common questions

A few details before we begin.

Is coaching therapy?

No. Coaching is not therapy or a replacement for mental health care. It is a supportive, educational, nervous-system-informed space that can work alongside therapy, support groups, or other professional care.

Do I need to know whether I am staying or leaving?

No. You do not need to have your relationship decisions figured out before beginning. Coaching can support you while you are staying, leaving, separated, rebuilding, grieving, undecided, or still trying to understand what happened.

What happens in a session?

Sessions are personalized to what you are carrying. We may explore nervous system patterns, triggers, protective parts, boundaries, body cues, relational repair, grief, or the places where you feel stuck. You will also receive tools and practices that fit your unique system.

What if I am currently in crisis?

Coaching can be supportive, but it is not emergency care or crisis support. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to stay safe, please contact local emergency services, a crisis hotline, or a trusted support person right away.

Meet your coach

Hi, I’m Carrie.

I help women heal after betrayal trauma using a body-first, nervous-system-informed approach. My work blends somatic healing, betrayal trauma education, parts work, mindfulness, attachment, and relationship repair.

I know how disorienting betrayal can feel in the body — the racing thoughts, the self-doubt, the shutdown, the fear, the grief, and the pressure to know what to do before you feel steady enough to breathe.
